This is a very short video that covers the absolute basic items that you will need if you want to start up your very own aquarium. If you didn't catch it in the video here is the list: 1-Aquarium (comes in quite handy). 2-Adequate sized filter and extra filter media. 3-A proper hood with hinged lid. 4-Adequate heater (not needed with cold water aquariums). 5-Gravel Vacuum or Python. 6-A never been used before 5 gallon bucket or bottle. 7-Liquid Testing Kits for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and pH. 8-Good Water conditioner and de-chlorinator in one. 9-Algae Scrubber/Scraper. 10-Fish Net (not too big unless you plan on getting huge fish). 11-Fish Food (specific for the type of fish you are going to get). 12-Gravel and other Decor (no sea shells or that crappy grape twine stuff). If you feel like I have left something out, feel free to comment or message me here on youtube. Hopefully this will be helpful to some of you. ReplyDeleteYou may very well possess great knowledge about starting a tank, and I actually came here to hear it... however, I simply can't take you seriously when you willfully look like a GD raccoon.

ReplyDeleteYour fish look really healthy, but...
Have you ever tried to do Live plants, rather than fake ones? Basically, your setup in all your tanks would be perfect, except for the gravel, which should be replaced with something like eco complete and the like. Otherwise, your tanks have the potential to be BEAUTIFUL live planted tanks.
look like you have one of the masks on from the Incredibles
ReplyDeleteWas you just board and though people are dum and don't know how to set up a fishtank so I'll make a dum video about it and what's with the lighting where's your face .
