koi should not be housed in tanks unless they are fry growing out to go in a pond, they need massive amount of water to grow to full potential and stay healthy. you are also overstocked with you goldfish by the looks of it, you should allow 20g per common goldfish minimum to allow them to grow their full potential and stay healthy. also filtration should be double what you would run on the size tank you have. add gravel to allow more bacteria to grow, and so the fish dont stress.
i only have a 30 litre tank, but i have gravel and plants, i used to buy plastic only so it was easier to clean as i used to have have a much larger tank (unfortunately my dad broke it and i've never been able to replace it.) but now i buy real plant's as they do keep the water cleaner and take toxin's and harful chemicals out of the water, as at the mo i have a crappy filter (as u can see in my video) so for the love of god spend some money on your tank or these fish will die too.
gorgeous fish...needs some gravel though...and some plants my koi in my tank have 50 + lbs of gravel to dig through and many plants to hide in..makes them happy fish...try putting another filter on the tank too it will keep it twice as clean..i have 2 power heads both for 50 gallon tanks an under gravel filter and a 30 and 50 hanging filters and my tank is spotless even with 12 koi and a facny gold fish...put an undergravel filter in the tank under well th gravel it will help
yeh just one problem i used to have quite alot of fish but they ALL died... so i figured if i dont use gravel it gives them more space and keep the water nice and clean also its alot easier to clean the tank :D
