But, can I put an Everyday pleco In cold water? or is it a specific breed. Also, is it ever too late to put in a heater into a tank, ive had it nearly for over 1 year (the tank) because i moved the fish from one previous. oh and my name is also John! lol
Hi There, Well People I Know Have Even Kept Gold Fish Etc, With Heaters, Only A- Small Heater Though, But I Had That Pleco In That Coldwater Tank At Room Temp Around 20c And He Was Fine. -And Also Do Relise They Tend To Get Big, So Have A Small One First,. Hope this helped John
Hey there, I have been a keen fish keeper for over 3 years now, and Ive always wanted a pleco, But after all the times asking ( ikeep coldwater fish, goldy's, carp ect) and my fish retailer, always said i couldnt put pelcos into coldwater, because theyre tropicals. i have 2 fish, as some recently died, (4 weeks) is it too lat rto put a heater in? or can i just put some plecos in?
