  9. Water is 21 degrees in winter and 23 degrees in summer.
Tropical fish needs to always be around 21-24 degrees.
Recently my heater got unplugged and lost a few fish, but lessons learnt :)

  12. I can only assume all fish were males as that's wht I always bought, but I might be wrong. They never spawned either.

  13. what siamese sex did you have in there?

  14. thank you for your feedback. I wanted to to keep it simple as otherwise it becomes too cluttered. As you can see, any more plants and it would have made it difficult for the fish to swim freely.

  15. Beautiful aquarium. Nice catfish & silver sharks. Although I have to admit the tank looks rather boring. Goldfish looks like one of the main attractions didn't read other post but perhaps you did at one time have more diversity if species of fish in their.

  17. thank you mate, but this video is now 2 years old.
Had the tank for nearly 3 years. A lot has changed and happened since. Check my other videos to see how I had a black algae breakout :)
I have less fish now. Haven't seen anymore of the salmon catfish at the stores again.

  18. Hi,
they just did. I never followed what people told me about which fish doesn't go with another fish. I put them in, if they eat each other, oh well, if not, great!

the tank has changed a lot since the video.
I have no trouble with the neons, as long as you keep them in a small pack, no issues.
the goldfish died, now I have a black gold fish, his name is "gogles" coz of his big eyes hehe
