WEBSITE: catspitproductionsllc.com 20 Gallon Fresh Water Aquarium Community Fish Tank This is the Catspit Productions fresh water community aquarium or fish tank. This tank is a 20 gallon, high with 2 Aquaclear outboard or hanging filters. One filter is a #70 or 300 gallons per hour filtration and it is set up like a normal filter with carbon, ammo carb, and filter medium. The second filter is a #50 or a 150 gallon per hour filtration. This smaller unit is set up with activated charcoal only. This is like a booster for clarity and toxins. This tank is about 1 and 1/2 years old and has been moved once. All of the plants are live but rather new. With a plecostomus and catfish, the tank is literally self cleaning. The filters are cleaned and changed once every month and that is all. Very easy maintenance. The light is a standard fluorescent tube that is left on for daylight simulation and turned off for night mode. The light is set on a timer. Many of the fish are over a year old and have been with the tank since the beginning. They are very fat and well fed! ReplyDeleteNice! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
ReplyDeleteI personnaly have a comunity tank and well, I have 3 guppies, 1 sword, 1 platy, 1 sword hybrid, 3 otocynclus, 4 corydoras (1 albino, 2 black and one bronze) It is colorful, all those fishes goes together, and I have a nice setup xD My auqarium is about the same as you (30 gallon or so) ^_^
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. I have an air pump. It helps clean the water of toxins is what it really is for. Put a fine bubble stone on it if you want to mellow it out a bit. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeleteI got an air pump e other day , and she hates it, she think that the fish get stressed out because of it , is that true you guys think
ReplyDeleteI'm not really an expert on which fish will go well together. I always say if they are all non-aggressive fish then you're ok. Some semi aggressive fish like Angles and certain Gourami's may also cohabitate with smaller tame fish. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeleteyeah you think this would be a good setup for a 25 gallon tall 1 pleco, 1 black kuhli loach, 2 marbled hachetfish, 2 dwarf gormis, 3 male guppies, and 5 neon tetras please respond i just got the tank for my birthday and ive been reserching wat fish to get while its cycling
ReplyDeleteHonestly in my experience Angel fish have never been a problem for me. This black one is the policeman of the tank. He seems to keep all the other aggressive fish inline. Almost like he protects the other fish. But he never hurts anyone. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeletei hope u no angel fish are like sharks to smaller fish
ReplyDeleteIt's a 20 gallon high tank. There are about 15 fish or so there. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeleteA couple of questions... What is the tank called, its looks great and How many fish do u have? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI put it in a nylon filter sac just like it was activated charcoal alone. The way my filter works it sits on top of the filter media. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeletehow do you use the ammo /carb i have some and a bag can you just set it on a air stone or do you put it inside the filter in front of the the filter pad it self a little help would be nice
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention that. I really like that battleship too. I bought that from a Petco or a Petsmart some time ago. I have kept my eyes open for them since and I have never seen them. I knew I should have bought two of them back when I first saw them. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeletePlease please PLEASE...you must tell me where you bought that long sunken ship ornament...it's so realistic. i have a long 20 gallon and that would look great in it. I can't find that length ship anywhere online! Thanks for your help!
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty good; I don't see any problems but I'm no expert. Good luck! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeleteI am getting a 55 gallon aquarium kit soon and I want to have 4 angelfish, between 6-10 lamp eye tetras, maybe 6-10 fancy guppies(since they breed alot), and 6 black mollies. Will that setup work?
ReplyDeleteCool, thanks much. Make sure to check out the newer version of this video with cuts and pans. It's a video response to this video. Check for the link here with the comments. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeleteNot these little guys. I have never had many problems with fish doing that. Just the occasional aggressive Gourami or such. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

Will the Lamp eye tetras nibble at the fins of the angelfish?
ReplyDeleteOh yea? Never heard of them. I'll bet they cost some bucks. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
ReplyDeletenice fish. the best should go with crystal (starfire) tank. It is more clear. one manufacture is FIRE
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure now. I think it was a Pet Smart or Petco but I can't recall which. And I have never seen them since either. It's the coolest style sunken ship I have ever come across. I should have bought two. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
