@SteoLAmanda well I mean, define loud. You know... I don't think it'll drowned out certain satisfying to hear moans. It might cover up your snide little remarks to him or her though. Might be the best thing you've ever done for yourself.
thats a pretty nice setup hes putting under there i love the fact that its a live system cause although there are a lot of great filters out there that are based off bioballs and all i think anything live is always the best way to go at least if you can like you say treating ich and all will kill all the live rock and all but other then that live is awesome
Hey there, hope you dont mind me asking, but what does Scott do? With a tank this huge I can't imagine how much of an investment has gone into it. But at the same time, it seems as though if he were a doctor or something of the sort, he wouldn't have time for a tank of this size.
4 filter socks may be overkill but it reduces the frequency of sock changes. As far as the sump swao, the way I see it is that the new sumps will be easier to maintain with more upside than the original bio ball system. It will also reduce my power bill by eliminating 300 plus watts of full time power draw from pumps that were removed.
I plan on adding a scrubber to the sump. There will be a tray that hangs on the wall where the water enters the refugium. A block off plate will allow me to direct the water over the top of the tray instead of under it. I will wait on adding that as well as sand sifters until things are proven to be stable.
No doubt, u got to keep the customer happy... its nice to see a client that is really into the hobby...one of these days he gonna run into an article on jaubert systems and next u know he's scraping all filteration... air stones and plemun..lol..... Keep up the good work!!!!! great vids.....

ReplyDelete@CoralMan24, I designed the sumps and Kara Kreations in Simi Valley built them for me.
