fish room






quick tour of my fish room updated November 22, 2006 Subsequently, 2 new smaller tanks have been added, a 10-gal cherry shrimp tank (where the water bin sits) and a 4-gal (beside the filter under the 29-gal)

  7. The big one has shop lights (daylight bulbs, 2x32w Philips T8 fluorescents), and the first one in video has screw-in-type mini spiral fluorescents (also daylight, 2X9W). All tanks are in 2 wpg range.

  18. Some aquarium stores sell different types of rocks by the pound, either that or go exploring :)

  19. Depends what you're after. All I have is low light tanks & plants; for that on my 50 gallon, daylight shop lights work fine. If you want to go into anything higher light/more diverse, then you have to investigate some of the better aquarium lighting canopies and I really don't know anything about them, sorry.
