Cold Water Bass Fishing on March 11

my friend and i went fishing for some late winter bass. we caught 7 or 8 on white booyah spinnerbaits and mann's baby 1- crankbaits. all the fish were around a 1-2 lbs and caught on a slow retrieve.

  1. @carrotstixfishing thanks! have you ever had any luck spinning for smallmouth? Ive tried my white booyah pond magic a little but i believe its mainly for largemouth and lake fishing.

yeah man im glad i could help! spinnerbait fishing for bass is by far one of my favorite techniques for fish all year round. they cover alot of water quickly and they trigger strikes. you can never go wrong with a 3/8 ounce booyah counter strike or blade spinnerbait in plain white, and in warmer months a combination of white and chartreuse can produce as well. good luck man!
p.s. i find one colorado blade and one willow leaf blade to be the best combo

no that is the correct spot to tie it, i have used spinnerbaits more than any other lure and that is where you tie the knot. where the metal wire comes to a corner

  5. 0:59 is that the correct way to tie the bait on? or do you tie it through the eye where the blades are?

  9. I tryed it. No bites but im not worried about that. Im worried about wht to use. Theres vegatations (dead) and the bottum is filled with that stuff making jigs and bottum baits impossible, its also very shollaw so i have a small lane above the weeds. What should i through?
