12 ft. Monster Move - Aquarium Design Group

This time the Aquarium Design Group (ADG) team is called in to move a client's existing aquarium that they have set up and cared for themselves for 7 years. With an aquarium full of big fish--most notably the lovable Piglet, a massive pink Gourami-- the ADG team has just one day to strip the existing 275 gallon, move all the fish to a holding vat in the garage, and install a brand new custom made 900 gallon aquarium. Watch as the Aquarium Design Group boys deploy their many years of experience to pull off this large-scale tear down/installation with a quick turnaround and the safe return of Piglet and all his friends to their new home.

  1. Beautiful tank. I have a similar tank, although it is 8ft rather than 12. Used larger river rock like that as well for substrate. Gravel siphoning is a REAL pain in the ass. Looks fantastic, but controling nitrates b/c of the challenge of efficiently clearing the gravel of solid waste is difficult.

  22. i think they used the same wet-dry filter from the original tank.
So the bioballs still contain all the good bacteria.
