  2. Yes she is. However more to the point I found this a useful vid in setting up my new ar 850. two questions - about where should the water level be as the diagram in the handbook needs a magnifying glass to read it (even my son can't be sure what it says). Secondly - is it me or is the arrangement for the lighting cable pretty poor - it appears to have to pass under the filter units to get to the back and therefore trails in the water. Am I missing the obvious?

  10. Best ask a marine dealer for the specifics - I only deal in freshwater tropicals and know very little about saltwater systems. A protein skimmer and live rock would be my guess for the smaller tanks but with the larger systems? - Pass.

    like what kinda equipment

  13. For freshwater tropical, no worries. If you were going to use one for marine, I presume it would need a protein skimmer etc. which doesn't come as standard on these models - they are really for freshwater unless extra equipment is added.

  15. Without a photo or video, theres not much chance of an identification. E-mail me photos if you like. No worries.

  20. We've had two cracked. One guy put the cabinet together and left a screwhead proud - when he filled it it cracked. The other was a small one which arrived cracked when the packaging was undamaged. We get quite a few people coming in for juwel lighting systems. I find that some of the filter systems of the aqua one are quite good as they are in the lid which frees up space in the tank.
There are however certainly more expensive looking tanks than some of the basic Aqua One ranges.
