TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER VIDEOS www.fischbottich.de +++ [Tinca tinca] +++ In this video you can see my two juvenile Tenches (Doctorfishes) in my cold water fish tank. They are about 6 cm (2.3inch) long. +++ The population of this 200 liter (53 gallon) tank: Stone loach / Bachschmerlen [Barbatula barbatula] Rudd / Rotfedern [Scardinius erythrophthalmus] European bitterling / Bitterlinge [Rhodeus amarus] Prussian Carp / Giebel [Carassius gibelio] Tench / Schleie [Tinca tinca]

  1. They're called doctorfish, because it is said that their slime cure any sick fish.
    I think that's just a myth.

  2. i got 2 tench too in my fishtank with my other goldfish, but is it true that they can cure other fish ?

  4. All my fish are juvenile and small. Unfortunately all of them grow up fast and become very big as adults. So they stay for one or two years in my tank and then move into my pond.

  6. I'd say two or three little tench, so they have space to grow up the next years.

  7. tench are my favourite fish so i thought i should get some for my new pond that is around 600-700 gallons, how many tench could i have in the pond with out overcrowding

  8. Flakes and tablettes, sometimes worms and mosquito larvae. But I don't feed my tench separately, all fish get the same.
