I have 3 white minnows in a large tank with a filter, air stone, and also access to a light, I would like one or two more fish, can I get a guppy or do I need a heater??? The water is about 22 celcius, but it may get quite a bit vcolder in winter, what fish can I get tthat aren't goldfish??
Hi, thank you, and i think so too :D No, i never intended it to be an aquarium fish for ever, i just liked the joy of watching and being able to see its beauty while i fed it up and it grew a little before it went in the outdoor pond, which is where it is now. Also i got it from my local Aquatic shop, i find most places sell them, this place is called Bridgemere Garden Center and within the center they have a company called Ripples waterlife (they have a few shops in the UK)
Hi, i didnt know that, but i guess you are talking about america? or somewhere simular? I am in the UK and sturgeon are a very popular pet, mainly ppl have them for their large ponds, all our aquatic shops stock them, we breed them in captivity here. We also sell many of the albino ones. :D
because they are an amazing fish, beautiful and prehistoric, a wonder to the aquatic world...yes it is the biggest of the freshwater fish, but it wont remain in my aquarium for ever in fact it has already moved home to a large out door pond.
that fish looks like a salt water shark coool =)
