    All of the waxwing colors will catch fish. For Calico Bass, I prefer the subtle, earthy tones. Bunker, Black and Gold, Sandeel, and Purple have been the most productive for me.

    Yes, I have been fishing the Shimano Waxwings for several months now. We have some footage of fish caught on them in our first San Clemente Island video. Great lures, with a consistent wide kick, seductive color schemes, and a weedless design
