What is your take on Spiderwire Stealth braid? I have the big 50lb test economy size box of it but I just replaced it with Stren mono. Now I noticed your said to use braid when using frogs. Right now I'm using a Quantum KVD sig series baitcaster. The reel is awesome but it seems like I can't get that great of a cast with the braid. Do the frogs have a good weight to them to get good cast distance? Any tips would be greatly appreciated Fluke!
I'm a tight-wad. I don't believe a 200 to 500 dollar reel gives me enough advantage over a decent 100 to 175 dollar reel to make me want to buy it. I stick with Revo S and SX Reels and an STX if it's on sale. Other than that I don't even pay attention to the expensive stuff.
Thanks for the sub. I've had the channel for a while but I didn't figure out what I wanted to do with it until about 9 months ago. It's still a work in progress so stay tuned.
Does anyone know if live target frogs are any better/ equal to these? I have 5 different color of bronzeye frog from spro, and I have heard some good things about live target. But as you know, a lot of lures are just a bunch of hype. Thanks for your help!
Ive had good luck with the spros and the spo j.rs. but i just bought 2 king daddy bronzeyes. Have you had any luck with those? Do they produce bigger bass? Im anxious to test them out!!

ReplyDeleteIm fishing pike with my spro bronzeye frog but the fish never get hooked. What am I doing wrong? Am I suposed to let the pike svallow the frog?
