the is a website that sells the crayfish clawtank.com
ReplyDeleteThey could be dieing from stress, crayfish stress easily especialy if they have no where to hide and just sit in plain view. Stress could be a factor, Oxygen in the water could be a factor, but crayfish are tough and wont starve they'll hack off there own claw to eat before they starve. Some native animals removed from there habbitat will refuse to eat in captivity and die, this could just be one of those cases.
ReplyDeleteI have seven tanks.
ReplyDeleteHow many aquariums do you have?
ReplyDeleteCheck out the crayfish in my tank:D
ReplyDeleteYours looks great!
can you feed them fish food or something like turtle tablets?
ReplyDeleteFor example tablettes or (frozen) stints (Osmerus eperlanus) or other small fish.
ReplyDeleteBut don't get them if you can't keep them!
hey what can you feed cray fish? i need to know because i like to catch them and feed them to my turtle or keep them but when i keep them they die in 2 days
ReplyDeleteI feed mine tablets too but he also LOVES earthworms. Tears them apart and eats them with glee!
ReplyDeletewhat was the video called when the pig said wee wee wee i know its state farm
ReplyDeleteTablettes and smelts (Osmerus eperlanus).
ReplyDeleteWhat do you feed him???
ReplyDeleteYes, it was always fun to watch him.
ReplyDeletei liked the part when he moved
ReplyDeleteIt's like watching a movie in cinema. First the commercials, than the popcorn.
ReplyDelete"Did the little piggy cry wee wee wee all the way home" lol..........oh wait, that was the add. Now I have to watch the video.
ReplyDeleteThis is a galician crayfish from east/middle europe. It doesn't live in america.
ReplyDeleteI like the color on him. The only ones I find around my area are a dark brown color and sometimes a really cool blue color. Are you in the south?
ReplyDeleteThe crayfish wasn't eating the plants, he just plucked some^^.
ReplyDeleteBut you're right, the bigger he grew, the more dangerous he became. He killed one or two fish and so he had to move in another tank.
let me explain the future of your beautiful tank... all of your plants will be eaten and so will do and the fish... i bought a crayfish and now is in another tank... better put it in the casserole...
ReplyDeleteIt's to little, you won't get sated.
ReplyDeleteHe would probably go good with some potatoes and corn...mmmmm :)
ReplyDeleteYes, they can live outside the water, they even dig their caves in the riverbank. But they don't necessarily need a place outside the water.
ReplyDeleteIts funny that you say that... We live in central Florida and looked in our back yard and found one crawling along. Funny thing is that the nearest pond is about 1/4 mile away....
