I would say depending on the size of fish, and how deep your tank is and stuff, Id go with about 3-4 maybe 5 if its a really tiny one.
In my tank I had up to 5 at once and that was with a few really big ones. They will eventually get to big for the tank and will have to be put in a pond, But until then try 4-5
i have a little koi and its been acting really weird is like its completly off balance and he lays at the bottom of the tank and he swims side ways is it swim bladder? if so what do i have to do i have him in a hospitle tank feeding him some peas and i read a book and it told me to put some salt in it it said you can use table salt so i put a little of that in i hope he gets better ???
the sliverish-gray ones and the yellow one are kois, but the others are golfish because i have a 55 gallon tank with goldfish, the kind YOU have. just do yahoo image search and type in black moor and fancy golfish. and these goldfish get HUGE. thats why i had to move mine to a bigger tank.

Yes, koi and goldfish love blue and pink rocks and swimming around in pirate ships and plastic plants.

ReplyDeleteYou shuldnt have fancies, with comet shaped goldies etc, they get all the food becuz they are faster.

ReplyDeleteyes, The BLACK one was a black moor, and I do have other GOLDfish, But I do have 4 kois. HENCE IN THE TITLE "my kois and OTHER FISH"

no, their Kois, at this point they are just babies. their massive now.
ReplyDeleteDUDE, the black fish is a black moor, the calico 1 is a calico goldfish. the one w/ the red head is a jelly head or a fancy goldfish!!!
