molly fish tank






inside of the tank i have: gold molly: dont know how many :P black molly:: around 6 adult ones, and dn't know how many babies mixture of black and gold molly ( aka tiger molly) about 20-25 few guppies about 15 ancistrus dolichopterus (2 males 1 female(was 1 more female but she is RIP now) and other are the babies) 2 xiphophorus (regular red male , and red tuxedo double sword long fin male, allso i had few females but they are gone..) 2 corydoras paleatus (gonna get few more) and 1 chrombotia machracanta (until she grow up, i'll sell her, and buy 1 small again :P) plants: valsineria spiralis anubias berteri (i guess) hygrophila polisperma cabomba caroliniana cryptocoryne wendtii my oya sagitaria subulata cryptocoryne aponogentofilia ceratophyllum demersum the tank is 100 litres, 2 years old... allso in my other room i have tank with 5 goldfishes (oranda, black moor, and 3 long fin regular goldfishes) and a 30 litres tank (quarantine) with COBITIS TAENIA aka BALCAN LOACH i have like 20 of them, cought them in near by river :) feel free to comment and tell mee what do you think about this tank :) soon there will be a video of cobitis taenia , and with my goldfishes too CHEERS :) IF YOU NEED ANY HELP OR ADVICE ABOUT COLDWATER FISHES, TROPICAL FISHES, OR PET TURTLES, PELASE JOIN US, AND TELL US YOUR PROBLEM, OR INTRODUCE US WITH YOUR PETS : zlatnaribica.net WE ARE WHAITING FOR YOU!!!

    do what i did- 500 l per hour filtration on around 70 liters, 20 w of light, small granulation of sand, and no water changes :) cycle it add some guppies and mollies and that's all :) plants that i recomend are ones that arent to sensitive, so harder ones ;) like anubias sp. valisneria sp. etc etc :)

    Thanks so much. I need to do more research I figured out CO2 but now all these additives and fertilizers are confusing. Another thing that still stumps me is water quality.. Idk what I should watch for in my water or what. It's all confusing >. <

    for aquascapers and delicate plants, you need CO2 and high light (1 w per liter) but as i was becomingbrighter about aqua keeping, i figred that this was DIAN Wallstadt tehnique i hope that this was the reason why i had those plants to look so pretty :D now, i have highlight aquarium, with more delicate plants, and now i'm adding profito, easy carbo, and CO2 :)and believe me now my tank looks like a jungle xD

    That confuses me too XD People say low light is better. What? I thought plants needed quite a bit of light. And then all this stuff about CO2. Like What.

    hehe, if you believe me, i didnt even had regulary weekly water changings i changed the water 3-4 times in whole year, about 70% :D and that's it :) maybe it is becouse of low light (15 w on 96 liters) and small granulation river sand.. 0.8-1mm :)

    Wow! Seriously? How long did you have this tank? That's amazing.. I have an old gourami tank that housed an amazon sword but it died after 3 years. I'm trying to make a new tank, more or less like what you have here. Hopefully I don't mess it up.. All this ph stuff and all these other chemical levels are hard to control and know what to put at..

    May I ask what you use for you plant health? Any ph stabilizers, fertilizers, lighting? What? I'd love to make a good set up like this.

    i am glad for your interest and your comment, i sure do best of my self to create a nice tank for them, but it is kinda hard becouse i dont have any pet store here, or anything that is related with aquarium :P

    Greetings. The video that I sent to you is of our new Oranda. She is now with the male who is scarred up from his past sickness. he is fine now but had some scale dammage. The new Oranda keeps playing or fighting with him. perhaps they are trying to be romantc? What do you think?

    sto se tice mijesanja mogu samo 3 kombinacije da ispanu (zuti,crni, i crno zuti) a sto se tice plavog molija mozes da dobijes 10 iskrizanih :)) moze da se desi da ni jedan ne lici na roditelje :)

    ja imam jednu yru mjesanca zutog i crnog tijelo zuto samo repna peraja i glava su crne :D ali se "svjeze" okotila pa se sakrila negdje medju biljkama, a ima njena cerka jedna isto crna glava crn rep, samo sto ima i crnih tufni po tijelu ;)

    =) ja sam imao mnogo molly crnih i zutih i srebrenih ,šarenih
    skoro sam zamjenio za karase koji su mi trebali za jezera
    imam jos nekoliko molly riba , prodavao ih , davao dzaba , al niko nece
    neznam što mozda nisu popularne :S ...
    imam neke snimke na mom yt kanalu =) meni su najljepse crne
    ukrštanjem žute i crne dobio sam razne boje , mozda necete vjerovat al ostavio sam sebi najbolje primjerke , najzanimljivije , jedno oko crno jedno zuto ili pola crna pola zuta i slično =)

    ne boj se, imao sam ja oko 100 black molly dok aq nije jos bio zarastao biljkama, niko nikog dirao nije dok se uredno hrane i paze... planiram jos da nabavim sebi svaku mogucu vrstu molly koju mogu da kupim ili dobijem za DZ da ih sve izmjesam da se krizaju, jer ja to svejedno rasprodam viskove :D
